We’re delighted to announce that Built Environment division company Urban Green has doubled the size of its Manchester headquarters following a period of sustained growth and increasing client demand across the UK.
The multidisciplinary design and environmental consultancy has expanded its presence at Deva City Office Park, growing from the ground floor into the first floor and increasing its footprint to approximately 4,000 sq ft. The newly completed fit-out provides a modern, collaborative workspace for Urban Green’s 45-strong team, with capacity for up to 60 colleagues as the business continues to grow.
Founded in 2010, Urban Green has established itself as a leading consultancy across seven specialist disciplines: landscape architecture, landscape planning, urban design, Biodiversity Net Gain, arboriculture, ecology, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The business supports clients nationwide across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, energy, regeneration, and infrastructure.
Urban Green joined Celnor’s Built Environment division in October 2025 and has continued to strengthen its market position through an integrated approach that combines design, environmental consultancy, and technical expertise. Recent projects include Lancashire County Cricket Club, Salford Cathedral Garden, Phoenix Ironworks in Manchester, PHL Camborne Extra Care Facility in Cornwall and Quintin Boathouse in Chiswick.
The expansion reflects both the company’s strong project pipeline and Celnor’s commitment to supporting the growth ambitions of its partner businesses.
Martin King, Managing Director of Urban Green, said:
“Since our formation in 2010 our project pipeline and team have grown significantly, reflecting increasing demand from clients for integrated design and environmental services. Our expanded Manchester headquarters marks an important milestone in our ambitious growth strategy, providing a dynamic and collaborative environment for our team as we continue to broaden our reach across the UK.”
Simon Parrington, Founder and CEO of Celnor Group, added:
“The fact that Urban Green has doubled the size of its headquarters within six months of joining Celnor demonstrates our commitment to supporting our partner companies as they grow and respond to market demand. Urban Green has established itself as a leading authority in its field and this newly expanded Manchester office will serve as a strong hub for the business as it continues to support and grow its nationwide client base.”
The Urban Green team is offering hot desks in its new office to other Celnor Group companies, including Airey Miller and CHPK Group, so that other Group members can bring their service offering to clients in Manchester and the North of England.
