15th Oct 2026
Celnor Group company FFT has celebrated its 25th anniversary, bringing together colleagues, clients, and partners to reflect on a quarter of a century of growth, industry change and longstanding relationships.
Founded in 2001 in a small office in Dartford, FFT has grown from its surveying roots into an established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with teams working across the UK. Over the past 25 years, the business has built a reputation for technical expertise, exceptional client service and a commitment to putting people and long-term relationships at the heart of everything it does.
The anniversary event provided an opportunity to celebrate this journey, recognise the people and partnerships behind FFT’s success, and look ahead to the next chapter.
Reflecting on 25 years of industry change
A central theme of the event was how the property and construction industry has evolved over the past 25 years, particularly the increasing complexity of regulatory requirements and the important role these changes have played in driving improvements in safety, quality, and professional standards.
Throughout this period, FFT has continued to evolve alongside the industry, expanding its services and expertise to help clients navigate changing legislation, meet new requirements, and manage their buildings and property portfolios with confidence.
Presentations from FFT’s leadership team, including Senior Partners Colin Farrell, Robin Faithorn, Partners Lee Maskell and Shane Jeeves, Senior Associate Andrea Joseph and Head of Client Relationships Sonya Russell, reflected on the business’s development, the changing needs of clients and the values that have remained constant throughout its history.
One of FFT’s greatest achievements is the strength of its client relationships. Some clients have worked with the business since its earliest days, while approximately 80% of its work comes from repeat, long-term customers. This loyalty reflects FFT’s commitment to providing dependable advice, maintaining high professional standards, and building partnerships based on trust.
“I am immensely proud that, from modest beginnings, FFT has evolved into an established and widely respected, diverse professional practice, known not just for our expertise and exceptional client service, but for the way we place people and long-term relationships at the heart of all we do. The industry has changed enormously over the past 25 years, with evolving regulations and standards continually raising expectations. Throughout that time, our focus has remained the same: supporting our clients, helping them adapt to change and providing the expertise and guidance they can rely on. To have clients who have been with us since the very beginning is something we are incredibly proud of, and we look forward to continuing those relationships, and building many more, over the next 25 years and beyond.” Colin Farrell, Senior Partner, FFT.
Celebrating partnerships that make a difference
The event also highlighted FFT’s commitment to making a positive difference beyond its professional services, with presentations from two charities the business proudly supports.
Luke Thomas, CEO of World Child Cancer, shared insights into the charity’s work supporting children with cancer and their families, helping to improve access to diagnosis, treatment, and care in countries where resources are limited.
Tim Holtam, Co-Founder and Director of Brighton Table Tennis Club and Harry Fairchild, Volunteer Coach, spoke about the organisation’s work using table tennis to bring people together, promote inclusion and create opportunities for individuals and communities.
Both presentations reinforced the importance of people, community and creating a lasting positive impact, values that closely align with FFT’s own approach to business.
Guests also had the opportunity to take part in table tennis tournaments organised by Brighton Table Tennis Club, bringing an interactive and enjoyable element to the celebrations.
Looking ahead to the next 25 years
While the anniversary was an opportunity to reflect on FFT’s achievements, it was equally a celebration of the future.
As part of Celnor Group, FFT continues to build on its heritage while benefiting from opportunities to collaborate with other specialist businesses, share expertise and further develop its services.
“Celebrating 25 years is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the people, expertise and relationships that have made FFT the business it is today.
