Building for Tomorrow
On 4th March 2026, Celnor brought together over 180 colleagues from across its four divisions for its annual Leaders Event – a day dedicated to connection, collaboration, and shaping the future of the Group.
Held under the theme “Building for Tomorrow”, the event marked a significant moment in our continued growth journey, providing a platform to reflect on progress while looking ahead to the opportunities that lie ahead.
A shared vision for the future
The day opened with a series of leadership presentations outlining Celnor’s strategic direction, future ambitions, and the role each division will play in delivering long-term success. With the Group continuing to expand, a strong emphasis was placed on aligning teams around a shared vision and strengthening cross-company collaboration.
Discussions highlighted upcoming initiatives, investment priorities, and how Celnor is positioning itself to meet evolving industry demands while maintaining its commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
Collaboration at the core
A key theme throughout the event was the importance of collaboration. Bringing together colleagues from across the business created valuable opportunities to share ideas, build relationships, and identify ways to work more effectively as one unified Group.
Interactive sessions encouraged open dialogue around how teams can better support one another, unlock efficiencies, and drive innovation across projects and services.
Investing in people: Learning at Celnor
One of the standout moments of the day was a panel discussion featuring colleagues who have taken part in Celnor’s learning & development programmes, including the LDP (Leadership Development Programme), MDP (Management Development Programme), and SDP (Sales Development Programme).
Chaired by Celnor’s Chief People Officer, Anushka Bakshi, panellists from A F Howland Associates, GIP and Riverside Environmental, shared their personal experiences, reflecting on how these programmes have supported their professional growth, strengthened their leadership capabilities, and empowered them to make a greater impact within the business.
This session reinforced Celnor’s commitment to investing in its people and developing the next generation of leaders across the Group.
Real stories of growth and opportunity
A powerful part of the day came from hearing directly from leaders within the Group about their experiences and the opportunities ahead.
Jonathan Francis, Managing Director of Riverside Environmental, one of Celnor’s first partner companies, shared his journey since joining the Group. He spoke openly about the challenges Riverside faced at times, and how Celnor’s enablement team provided critical support when it mattered most. From operational improvements to strategic guidance, Jonathan highlighted how the Group’s backing has helped strengthen performance, improve key business metrics, and, importantly, support and develop its people.
Delegates also heard from Mark Humphreys, CEO of Airey Miller Group, who spoke about the scale of opportunity emerging across the sector. In particular, he highlighted how changes in housing regulation are creating new demand across the market—presenting a significant opportunity for collaboration and cross-selling across Celnor’s member companies. His insights reinforced the value of working as one Group to maximise these opportunities.
Building for tomorrow, together
The Leaders Event 2026 served as a powerful reminder that Celnor’s success is built on its people, its shared values, and its collective ambition.
By bringing teams together, fostering collaboration, and continuing to invest in development, Celnor is well positioned to build for tomorrow—stronger, more connected, and ready to seize future opportunities.
