Another fantastic week at UKREiiF has come to a close, with teams across the Celnor Group joining industry leaders, clients, and partners in Leeds for one of the sector’s most important events of the year.
Bringing together CHPK Group, Arbtech, Urban Green, Green Buildings Design, McPlan and Site Services, Airey Miller and FFT, created an excellent opportunity to strengthen connections, exchange expertise, and showcase the collective capabilities across the built environment and compliance sectors. Throughout the week, engaging discussions, thought-provoking panels, and meaningful conversations reflected the shared ambition, innovation, and partnership driving the future of the industry.
Several key themes consistently emerged across conversations and events:
Building safety and compliance remain front and centre
One of the clearest takeaways from UKREiiF was the continued focus on building safety and compliance. Increasingly, these are being viewed not simply as regulatory requirements, but as fundamental drivers of better design, smarter project delivery, and long-term value creation.
Collaboration across disciplines is critical
The importance of early collaboration between consultants, designers, contractors, and stakeholders was another recurring theme. The projects making the greatest progress are those where teams are integrating expertise from the outset to improve outcomes, efficiency, and confidence in delivery.
Optimism remains strong across the sector
Despite ongoing market challenges, there was a clear sense of optimism throughout the event. Across regeneration, infrastructure, and development projects, the appetite to innovate and deliver meaningful, future-focused schemes across the UK remains strong.
It was also encouraging to see significant attention given to emerging talent, diversity, sustainability, and the future skills needed to support the industry’s long-term growth and resilience.
Events such as UKREiiF are an important reminder that while the industry continues to navigate complexity and change, there is also enormous opportunity to shape safer, smarter, and better-performing places for the future.
We look forward to returning to Leeds again next year.
